WHO WE ARE
JM Steel™ began production in 2000 and is located on Nucor Steel’s Industrial campus in South Carolina. Our state-of-the-art 120,000 sq ft steel processing and warehousing facility has the processing capability and extensive inventory to provide a variety of flat-rolled steel products, including master coils, slit coils, hot-rolled, cold-rolled, galvanized, blanks, and flat bars. Other capabilities available for clients include: plasma cutting, roll forming, stamping, and press braking.
JM Steel's Sinton, Texas facility, is located on the SDI Sinton campus. This ultra-modern 190,000 sq ft steel processing and warehousing facility will house 2 slitting lines, a stamping operation, as well as roll forming capabilities.​​

ABOUT JM STEEL & 5 STAR ROLL FORM
Formerly BCI Steel, JM Steel is a Pittsburgh, PA–based leading contract manufacturer of solar tracking systems, most notably for Nextracker, the world’s largest solar tracker company. The upgraded plant now features advanced manufacturing technology, including high-speed solar tube lines with fully automated drilling and precision swedging for superior consistency and throughput.
This expansion more than doubles the facility’s production capacity and highlights JM Steel’s commitment to strengthening domestic solar manufacturing. Together with our Sinton, TX facility, JM Steel is positioned to rapidly scale production in Pittsburgh to meet the growing demand for U.S.-made solar structures.
In October 2022, JM Steel Corp. (JM) proudly announced the purchase of 5 Star Roll Form, LLC. Located in Pendergrass, GA. 5 Star operates 10 production lines where our roll forming facility produces parts for industries including truck/trailer, garage door, roofing, and pallet racking.

SHIPPING
With our direct access to major rail lines and easy access to major highways, our locations allow you to rail or truck ship to all major manufacturing hubs and ports in the SE and South Central US & Mexico.
WAREHOUSING
Both locations are equipped with heating units for condensation control. We have plenty of protected warehouse floor space to store your raw material safely and all buildings are served by multiple, state-of-the-art overhead cranes.
